$900,000 Settlement For Passenger on School Bus

Posted by Robert A. Flaster

Client, a woman in her late 40’s, was a passenger aboard a school bus when it was hit in the rear by another vehicle. There was minimal questionable damage to the back of the school bus and no damage to the front of defendant’s vehicle after the impact occurred. As a result there was an issue whether the impact was strong enough to cause the injuries the client claimed were from the accident. The client had herniated discs in her neck and underwent a surgical procedure to her neck. The case settled for $900,000.
